~September 12th, 2006~

*Hangs head in shame* I suck at keeping this place up to date. I've been doing a good amount of work on "Just An Old Fashioned Love Song". Not too far yet on my novel, however. Can't force myself.

It's funny how things like moving and illness can completely throw me for a loop. I should be using stuff like that a fuel for my writing, instead I let it give me writer's block. Must start working on that. NaMoWriMo is coming up soon. I have a story idea that I'd like to try. This'll be my first time participating. I'm nervous and excited. I used to be an insane perfectionist about my writing. I'm getting better about it, but there are still lingering traits. I only hope they won't affect me when I attempt my "novel in a month".

In the coming days I'll be getting this place back into order. My net is slow here at the apartment so don't expect all the missing chapters of JaOFLS will be up in a day. ('Cause that just ain't happenin'!) If it doesn't get finished by the end of the week you have my permission to e-mail me and bug me until I do it. I mean. Bug me. Kick my butt into gear. I need it.

Shhh...writer at work. 
Actually, my eyes are currently glued to the Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game. Yes, Civ as a board game. It's like Risk...only a whole lot more complicated. So, as soon as I tear myself away I'll be working on my novel (that I have yet to mention here). Um...that is if Mortal Kombat: Deception doesn't take ahold of me next.
